This full-time, on-site role offers opportunities to care for hospitalized patients, learn new techniques, and work closely with veterinarians and nursing staff.

The position emphasizes following treatment plans, monitoring patients, maintaining records, and supporting diagnostic and specialty departments.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technician credentials preferred for technician candidates.
• Knowledge of safe patient restraint, animal behavior, and basic veterinary medications and administration techniques.

Aufgaben

• Follow electronic treatment plans and complete assigned care.
• Monitor patient comfort, vital signs, appetite, and notify changes.
• Provide safe handling, restraint, feeding, bedding, and daily care.
• Assist with sample collection, diagnostics, outpatient treatments, and prep for procedures.
• Support specialty departments and maintain continuity of care between shifts.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure billing-relevant documentation.
