Platt College Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our Veterinary Technology (VT) program as a Part‑Time Lab Instructor. This role is ideal for an RVT who enjoys teaching hands‑on clinical skills and mentoring students as they develop the practical competencies required for veterinary practice.

The Lab Instructor supports student learning through hands‑on laboratory instruction, skills demonstration, and guided practice in a professional learning environment.

Location: Alhambra campus; additional travel to Covina and Pomona is required.

Responsibilities

Credentials and Experience

  • Graduate of an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technology Program (Associate degree or higher).
  • Experience in training, mentoring, leadership, or supervision strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time‑management skills.
  • Commitment to student success and professional standards.
Employment Status
  • Adjunct, hourly, non‑exempt.
  • Adjunct faculty hours are determined by the scheduled courses in a particular module and are generally under 25 per week.
