Job summary

True Animal Vet is seeking a skilled veterinary technician to join our team. You will care for four-legged patients, take vital signs, administer medications, perform lab work, and assist with surgeries and other medical procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary care (primary or urgent/emergency).
• General knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to take and record vital signs.
• Experience administering medications and injections.
• Proficiency in performing laboratory procedures.
• Familiarity with medical equipment and instruments.
• Ability to monitor anesthesia and assist in surgeries and medical procedures.
• Strong communication skills with colleagues and clients.
• Good bedside manner and compassion for animals.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of basic animal care and husbandry.
• Experience with electronic medical records and office software.
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and humanely.
• Knowledge of common animal diseases and treatments.
• Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations.

Responsibilities
