Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to properly and safely restrain animals.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of veterinary terminology and medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians by prepping patients for surgery and monitoring post-op.
• Obtain samples (stool, blood, etc.) for testing and help interpret results.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and anesthesia as directed.
• Communicate with clients regarding care plans and instructions.
• Support client service staff and maintain clinic organization.
