Abqpetcarehospital is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician in Evansville, Indiana. The role includes assisting veterinarians with surgical procedures, client communications, and administering medications. The ideal candidate will have a Veterinary Technician certification or equivalent experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Certification as a Veterinary Technician preferred though previous experience will also be considered.
• Must have ability to handle physical and emotional aspects of a veterinary clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarian with surgical cases including prep and monitoring.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Prepare animals for surgery including shaving and placing IV catheters.
