Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is expanding its Ophthalmology Service in Clearwater. The role supports ophthalmology teams in exams, diagnostics and treatments, while ensuring compassionate patient care and a positive client experience.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma or equivalent and CVT/LVT/RVT certification is preferred; ophthalmology experience is a plus. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred.
• Experience in veterinary ophthalmology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor anesthesia and support patients during ophthalmic surgeries and sedated procedures.
• Assist veterinarians with ophthalmic exams, diagnostics, and specialized treatment procedures.
• Administer medications, collect samples, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Restrain and handle patients safely while ensuring comfort during exams.
• Educate pet owners on post-procedure care, medications, and follow-up instructions.

Education

Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centers is a family-owned network of specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals dedicated to providing advanced, compassionate care across a range of disciplines, including emergency and critical care, ophthalmology, oncology, surgery, and internal medicine.

We are excited to grow our Ophthalmology Service in Clearwater and are looking for a team member who wants to be part of building and supporting this specialized service.

In this role, you will work closely with our ophthalmology team to provide exceptional patient care and a positive client experience. You will assist with examinations, diagnostic testing, procedures, and treatments.
