Job summary

Portland Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Care (PVESC) in Portland, Maine, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) to join our Ophthalmology department. You will work closely with specialists to deliver high-quality patient care, administer medications, monitor anesthesia, and coordinate procedures across departments.

  • Uphold standards related to safety, infection control, and OSHA protocols
  • Serve as a patient advocate, maintaining accurate treatment and anesthesia records

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position. Some holidays are required. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM.

Pay range $25-$34/hour, commensurate with experience and licensure.

What You'll Do

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician in our Ophthalmology department, you'll work closely with specialists and clinicians across departments to deliver accurate, high-quality care. In this role, you will:
