Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners Woodbridge is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join the busy neurology team. CVT/LVT preferred, or a minimum of 2 years of technician experience; you will support diagnostic testing, anesthesia, IV catheterization, CRIs, and patient monitoring.

We offer pay at $23–$35/hr with an Overnight differential, sign-on bonus for full-time, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), PTO, licensing fees covered, CE allowance, pet insurance,

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT preferred, or minimum of 2 years of technician experience.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate, positive, honest, and committed to providing excellent care.
• Obtain and prepare various blood samples for diagnostic testing.
• Anesthesia, sedation and procedures.
• Setting up CRIs and performing medical calculations.
• Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy.
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate care.
• Collecting diagnostic samples and maintaining records.
• Radiology positioning and safety.

Responsibilities

About You

• Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, 7:30AM – 6PM or Sunday - Wednesday, 7:30AM – 6PM
