Job summary
Animal Hospital of Seminole, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician in Seminole, Florida. You will deliver end-to-end patient care, assist with outpatient treatments, and support admissions and discharges while maintaining compassionate client communication.
Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of clinical veterinary experience; active CVT/RVT/LVT credentials are preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred, but not required.
- Monitoring and assessing patient’s status.
- Collecting blood and other samples for testing.
- Placing catheters.
- Administering medication.
- Providing sedation for diagnostic procedures.
- Performing postoperative nursing care, including pain management.
Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end care for patients during outpatient treatments.
- Assist with admitting and discharging patients.
- Support fast, accurate diagnostics and patient monitoring.
- Communicate with pet owners to ensure understanding of care and aftercare.
