Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated veterinary assistant/technician to join our compassionate team. You will support clinicians in creating a high standard of medical care for companion animals and their families.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with or around sick animals and hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Client communication and information gathering.
• Triaging patients and taking vital signs.
• Performing diagnostic testing including radiographs and lab work.
• Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring.
• Dispensing medications and placing IV catheters.
• Monitoring anesthesia during procedures.
• Conducting lab diagnostics and related duties.
