Job summary

Shiloh Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant who takes pride in patient care and enjoys being part of a supportive team. The hospital is busy and collaborative, with a focus on kindness and respect among staff.

We offer four longer shifts per week, a dog-friendly workplace, and dedicated time for learning and professional development. You will work closely with veterinarians and the team to deliver high-quality care to patients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant.
• Hardworking, reliable, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.
• Willing to learn and grow in a supportive team environment.
• Treats patients, clients, and coworkers with kindness and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with appointments, examinations, and treatments.
• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients.
• Perform diagnostics, collect samples, and assist with lab testing.
• Support surgical and dental procedures, anesthesia, and patient recovery.
• Educate clients and help them make informed decisions about their pets' care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and communicate with the veterinary team.
