VCA Beech Road Animal Hospital in Redford, MI is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support patient care and client experience. This full-time role involves assisting in surgery, dental cleanings, vaccines, lab work, and thorough record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, LVMT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-op recovery.
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM.
• Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments.
• Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.
