Okatie Veterinary Center in Okatie, SC is seeking an experienced veterinary technician/assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate can work independently, perform blood draws, take histories, and educate clients on pet care.

Responsibilities include assisting veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures, handling and restraining animals, collecting lab samples, and maintaining patient records. We offer a collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is required.
• Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certification preferred or eligible to obtain licensure per state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Safely handle and restrain animals; administer medications and vaccines.
