Qualifications

• 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience as a technician or assistant.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume practice.
• Willing to work weekends and rotating on-call schedule.
• Experience with animal handling and restraint across species.
• Proficient nursing care in hospital or outdoor settings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgery experience preferred.
• Dental care and radiographs experience preferred.
• Laboratory skills including cytology setup and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wellness exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist in surgical procedures.
• Perform nursing care and patient monitoring.
• Restrain and handle diverse species safely.
• Educate clients and document care.
• Collect samples and perform basic lab work.
• Maintain equipment and the hospital area.
