Genoa Animal Hospital in Genoa, Illinois is seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role focuses on rooming patients, assisting in surgery, and caring for animals through recovery, with responsibilities in IV catheter placement, blood draws, and in-clinic lab work.

• Knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment

Responsabilités

• Room patients and prepare them for procedures
• Assist in surgery and monitor during recovery

Genoa Animal Hospital is actively looking for an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our great team. The ideal candidate must be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with in-clinic laboratory, have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understand the importance of client education, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, able to dispense and administer medications prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and Genoa Animal Hospital encourages and supports its staff to do the same.
