Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Veterinary Technician preferred.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, lab procedures, radiology, and dentistry.
• Basic computer literacy and practice management software familiarity.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized patients, including IV catheter placement, CRI management, medication administration, feeding tube placement, and monitoring.
• Prepare, monitor, and recover patients undergoing surgical procedures with safety and comfort.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries with proper restraint and monitoring.
• Perform laboratory diagnostics (urinalysis, hematology, fecals, cytology) and document results accurately.
• Operate radiology and ultrasound equipment following safety and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments per regulations.
• Maintain daily controlled drug logs and proper handling of substances.
• Contribute to medical recordkeeping, charge entry, and chart auditing.
