Bond Vet in New Jersey is offering a veterinary externship for students enrolled in accredited programs. This position emphasizes hands-on experience in a modern environment designed for optimal pet and client care.
Interns will work alongside experienced veterinary professionals, participate in procedures, and leverage innovative technologies. The externship includes mentorship and opportunities for skill development in veterinary practices.
Compensation ranges from $7.25 to $17.95/hour, based on university and location policies.
Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human‑animal bond through better pet care. We offer primary and urgent care, so we’re there for pets when they need us most. Our clinics are designed with pets and people in mind: warm, friendly, and highly sniffable. We balance this design with a strong focus on technology, all built in‑house, which means we can easily innovate our systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.
The Opportunity: Are you looking to complete your externship in a state‑of‑the‑art veterinary clinic with thoughtful mentorship and exposure to a variety of cases? At Bond Vet, we believe the role of a conventional veterinary technician has not realized its full potential in any GP or urgent‑care clinical environment, and it is our mission to bring this role to the modern day. As an extern with us, you’re sure to find a supportive and successful start to your veterinary career.
Our veterinary technicians use their medical knowledge and clinical skills to provide routine and urgent care every day. You’ll participate in surgery and dental procedures, shadow appointments with credentialed veterinary technicians, and educate the pet parents who walk in our door. We’ll look out for you and encourage you to grow your skill set, helping you learn and setting up appropriate CE events and mentorship to support you through your externship with us.
Bond Vet is only considering applicants who have independent, unrestricted, valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer and accept new employment for this position. Bond Vet does not sponsor employment‑based visas for this position and cannot facilitate F‑1 visa STEM OPT for this role.
