Job summary

VCA Metzger Animal Hospital in State College, PA hosts an overnight ER team. We offer 24-hour care with an emergency doctor and technicians on site at all times, AAHA accreditation, and a collaborative culture.

We seek an experienced Veterinary Technician or Vet Assistant to join the Overnight ER team. Prior ER experience is required and credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT) are valued as you deliver high-standard patient care and client service.

• Credentials: CVT, RVT or LVT.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency environment.

We are seeking an experienced Vet Assistant or Veterinary Technician to join our ER Team!

Location: 1044 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $17-$21 based on experience, education and credentials

Schedule : weekend, daytime, evening

VCA Metzger is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join the Overnight ER team in State College PA!

We are a state of the art facility equipped with advance diagnostic tools which allows us to provide support to both routine and critical patient needs. We have 24-hour care with an emergency doctor and technicians on site at ALL times. In addition to our Feline Friendly and AAHA accreditations, VCA Metzger Animal Hospital is a Level III VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) Certified Veterinary Emergency Hospital.
