Job summary

Bulger Veterinary Hospital is seeking a part-time Veterinary Technician for overnight emergency coverage in Lawrence, MA. This role offers weekend shifts (6p–6:30a) with a $5/hour differential from 11p–6a and a base of $26–$32/hour depending on skills and experience.

You will work with a seasoned ECC team to triage emergencies, monitor anesthesia, place IV catheters, and assist with diagnostics, imaging, and surgeries while keeping precise medical records and delivering compassionate client care.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting.
• CVT, LVT, or RVT preferred.
• Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills.
• Emergency or critical care experience preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with DVMs on diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform anesthesia monitoring and patient recovery care.

Bulger Veterinary Hospital is hiring a part-time overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency & Critical Care team in Lawrence, Massachusetts. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Veterinary Technician looking to grow ER and ICU skills while working in a collaborative specialty hospital environment.

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician at Bulger, you’ll work alongside experienced veterinarians, specialists, and technicians while supporting advanced patient care and making a direct impact every shift.

Compensation

• $26–$32/hour based on skills and experience
