Job summary

Veritas Veterinary Partners is hiring Veterinary Technicians to join our emergency and specialty teams. Located in Garden State Veterinary Services Woodbridge, you will work with board-certified specialists on complex cases using state-of-the-art technology.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT preferred or 2+ years of technician experience.
• Must be team-oriented, self-motivated and organized with strong communication.
• Experience with anesthesia, sedation and clinical procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care and monitoring in a fast-paced emergency/specialty setting.
• Set up CRIs and perform medical calculations as needed.
• Place IV catheters and manage fluid therapy; monitor hospitalized patients.

About You

• CVT/LVT preferred, or minimum of 2 years of technician experience
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Compassionate, positive, honest, and committed to providing excellent care
• Anesthesia, sedation and procedures
• Setting up CRIs and performing medical calculations
• Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and providing compassionate care
• Collecting diagnostic samples and maintaining records
• Radiology positioning and safety
• Preparing blood/plasma transfusions

Compensation & Schedule

• Sign-on Bonus: $2,000 for Full-Time Veterinary Technicians and $6,000 for Credentialed Veterinary Technicians

Base Pay

$23 - $35 USD
