Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists - Mansfield is seeking a Veterinary Technician for the Emergency/Overnight team in Mansfield, TX. This role focuses on critical care and active collaboration with doctors to deliver urgent care for diverse emergencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of emergency veterinary technician experience.
• ECC/CVT/LVT/RVT credentials encouraged.
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and surgical assisting skills.
• Experience with post-operative and emergency patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians during emergency exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with emergency surgeries and post-operative care.
• Provide emergency nursing care and first aid to injured or recovering patients.
• Prepare patients and surgical instruments for procedures.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs (BP, ECG, SpO₂, EtCO₂).
• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics.
• Operate digital radiography and advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Accurately document patient histories and medical records.
• Maintain clean, sterile, and organized treatment/lab areas.
• Mentor and support fellow technicians and assistants.

Provide Critical Care When It Matters Most

Compensation:

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT/VTS): $25.00-$35.00/hr + plus shift differential
• Experienced Veterinary Technician (Unlicensed): $22.00-25.00/hr + plus shift differential
• $1500 Sign on Bonus Available for overnights shifts

What You’ll Do

• Supporting veterinarians during emergency exams, treatments, and procedures
