Job summary

VCA Miller Robertson Animal Hospital in West Hollywood, CA, seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support veterinarians, technicians and all hospital staff by providing high-quality patient care, cleaning facilities, and educating clients. Under guidelines, perform complex treatments, labs, imaging, and other animal care tasks within hospital operations. Bonus: $3,000 for qualified RVT candidates.

Location: 8807 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA. Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Saturday.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years of veterinary experience required.
• Dental and anesthesia experience is a must.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

VCA Miller Robertson Animal Hospital in beautiful West Hollywood, CA, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to support veterinarians, other veterinary technicians, and all hospital associates by providing high-quality patient care, cleaning facilities, and communicating with and educating clients. Under established guidelines, complete more complex patient treatments, laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other animal care functions and tasks involved in patient care and operations of a veterinary hospital. As a Registered Veterinary Technician, perform job responsibilities as outlined by the state practice act and hospital guidelines.

Bonus: $3,000 for qualified RVT candidates.

Location: 8807 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90069

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Saturday availability

Salary: $32 - $38 / hour

Based on experience, knowledge, and skill set at the time of hire.

Job Summary

Assist the doctor and other hospital staff by caring for and cleaning patients and facilities, including completing patient treatments, assisting in surgery, and all other animal care functions, as well as other tasks involved in the operations of a veterinary hospital.

Physical Requirements

• Dependable attendance is required.
• Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions.
• This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour day.
• Visual acuity sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written directions.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand, give information in person and over the telephone.
• Fine motor skills are adequate for utilizing hospital equipment such as electric clippers, syringes, radiology equipment, laboratory equipment, computers, etc.
