Noah’s Ark Animal Clinics in Fort Wright, KY is seeking a dependable Veterinary Technician Assistant to support veterinarians and veterinary technicians while delivering safe, compassionate care to our patients. This is a full-time position at our Fort Wright clinic.

You’ll help with exams, treatments, lab work, and clinic workflow in a fast-paced environment. A calm, animal-loving attitude and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary or animal-handling experience is preferred.
• Calm, compassionate approach with animals.
• Dependability and willingness to help the team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a busy clinical environment.
• Comfort with the physical requirements of the position (standing, lifting).
• Availability to work the Fort Wright clinic schedule.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and restrain dogs and cats
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
• Assist with patient exams, treatments, and procedures
• Collect and prepare laboratory samples as trained
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain medical equipment and work areas
• Monitor patient comfort and communicate concerns to the medical team
• Stock supplies and support clinic organization
• Assist throughout the clinic wherever needed to keep patient care moving smoothly
