Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willing to train the right candidate.
• Preferably with experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by examining and interviewing, reviewing care plans and records, completing lab tests and imaging.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications and vaccines, and wound care.
• Support examinations and operations by assembling supplies, restraining patients, and assisting the veterinarian.
• Provide excellent pet care using knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes, pharmacology, equipment usage, and drug administration.
• Maintain medical records and update the database accurately and timely.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status as directed by the veterinarian.
