CityVet Charlotte Uptown is seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant to support veterinarians and technicians, focusing on patient care and efficient clinic operations. You will assist with anesthesia prep, patient handling, and front-office coordination under supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a veterinary setting, is 18 or older, and can lift 50 lbs. Training is available for the right candidate, with opportunities to grow within a friendly, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older at hire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinary Technician (VT) with medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
• Help restrain and prepare patients; assist with anesthesia administration.
• Record observations and treatment plans in patient files; support front office.
• Coordinate with Client Service Specialist team as needed.
