Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners upon arrival, take weight and vital signs.
• Triage patients and perform physical exams, treatments, and administer medication as directed.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medication administration and patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Fill prescriptions and maintain documentation of controlled drugs.
• Feed patients and record appetites; report unusual conditions.
• Communicate positively with clients.
• Educate clients about insurance and wellness plans.
• Maintain cleanliness of the hospital.
• Adhere to safety and wellness regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
