Hamburg Veterinary Clinic in Hamburg, NJ is seeking a skilled veterinary technician to join our community-focused team. You’ll perform hands-on tasks such as running appointments alongside doctors, placing IV catheters, taking radiographs (including dental), and assisting in anesthesia, surgery, and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in a small animal setting is required.
• Comfort with medical math and dose calculations.
• Strong client communication and positive attitude in hectic days.
• Willingness to mentor newer team members and grow skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with appointments and procedures.
• Collect samples and place IV catheters.
• Take radiographs, including dental radiographs.
• Support anesthesia induction, monitoring and recovery; assist in surgery.
• Educate clients about pet care and treatment plans.
