Potomac Animal Wellness (PAWS), part of the Suveto network of hospitals, seeks a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team at Indian Head, Maryland. You will support veterinarians across the hospital, ensure efficient client service, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to veterinarians in all hospital areas.
• Triage patients and assess stability or critical status.
• Assist with surgeries including preparation and anesthesia monitoring.
• Collect blood samples and manage fluid therapy setup.
• Compute dosages and dispense medications, including control substances.
• Monitor in-hospital patients and communicate status to team and clients.
• Prepare patients for discharge with home-care instructions and education.
