Job summary

Job Description Summary

Perform anesthesia on a wide variety of species, including pre‑op assessment, induction, maintenance, and recovery of all patients.

Location

Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Position requires own transportation and allows 30‑minute travel time to hospital during on‑call.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide primary anesthesia care to clinical patients.
  • Provide primary anesthesia care to research patients.
  • Provide primary anesthesia care after hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Teach veterinary anesthesia to student veterinarians and technicians.
  • Stock appropriate areas.
  • Participate in weekly anesthesia department rounds (twice weekly).
  • Maintain anesthesia equipment.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
