Join our team as a Veterinary Technician who supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. Responsibilities include providing patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, assisting during surgery and operations, providing nursing care, assisting with feeding and caring for patients, maintaining medical supplies and equipment, overseeing triage and discharging patients, and maintaining patient medical records.
Altas Palmas Animal Clinic in Harlingen, Texas has been a cornerstone of veterinary care in the Rio Grande Valley for over 45 years, serving the cats and dogs of Harlingen and the surrounding communities since 1979 with a full range of services from preventive wellness and dentistry to internal medicine, surgery, geriatric care, and boarding. The practice's mission — to provide compassionate, ultramodern medical care and high-quality service — is reflected in a warm, friendly environment where every client is given a thorough explanation of their pet's diagnosis and a clear treatment plan before leaving the clinic.
