Four Paws Animal Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our collaborative team. The position offers full-time status, flexible scheduling, and compensation based on experience and credentials.

We welcome credentialed technicians and experienced assistants who are passionate about high‑quality medicine, client service, and ongoing learning in a AAHA-accredited hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience is required.
• Credentialed veterinary technicians are encouraged to apply; experienced assistants are welcome.
• Strong animal-handling and technical skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement as appropriate.
• Obtain radiographs and support surgical and dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure clean, stocked treatment areas.
• Communicate clearly with clients about their pets' care.
