Job summary

Animal Care Center of Blue Ash is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our busy small animal practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. This full-time position involves a rotating Saturday schedule and opportunities to work with advanced diagnostic tools in a supportive team environment.

As part of the Animal Care Center of Blue Ash network, you will assist veterinarians, monitor anesthesia, and help with surgeries and dentistry while maintaining accurate records and excellent client communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician.
• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring and patient nursing care.
• Experience assisting with surgery and dentistry preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and client service abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians during examinations and treatments.
• Safely restrain patients and assist with handling procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Obtain diagnostic images and assist with radiology procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia.
• Assist with surgical and dental procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communications.
• Ensure proper charge capture and documentation.
• Help maintain a clean, organized hospital environment.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team atmosphere.
