Job summary

Allendale Veterinary Hospital in Allendale, NJ is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our GP team. You will support wellness and sick visits, assist with surgeries and dental procedures, and manage in-house lab diagnostics, radiology, and inventory.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Surgical experience preferred.

Veterinary Technician ($5,000 Sign On Bonus)

Allendale Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, passionate Veterinary Technician as we expand our team! As a GP technician, you'll play a central role in delivering seamless, empathetic care. You’ll support wellness and sick visits, assist with general surgeries and dental procedures, manage in‑house lab diagnostics and radiology, and ensure smooth in‑house pharmacy and inventory operations.

As a member of the clinical team, in addition to traditional vet tech duties, you will be actively involved in:

• Client education and communication
• Detailed electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Reviewing medical records and lab work
• Calculating doses for both oral and injectable medications
• Rounds with the doctor for application of clinical knowledge
• Leading appointments (history, TPR, meds)

• The pay range for this role is: $25-$28/hr. This pay range represents our target hiring range for this role. The proposed pay will be dependent on the candidate's skills, experience, and competencies

What We Require:
