Qualifications

• 1-year veterinary experience in animal research.
• Proficiency with anesthesia monitoring, anesthesia machines, ventilators/respirators, autoclaves, and surgical tools.
• Technical capabilities with animal breeding, tissue sampling, harvesting, collection, and rodent mouse models.

Responsibilities for the Veterinary Technician include:

• Assist in surgery setup including disinfection and autoclaving of supplies, equipment and rooms

• A minimum of 1-year veterinary experience within animal research
• Demonstrated proficiency with anesthesia monitoring, anesthesia machines, ventilators/respirators, autoclaves, and surgical tools.
• Technical capabilities with animal breeding, tissue sampling, harvesting, collection, and rodent mouse models
• BS in biology related field required

Compensation for the Veterinary Technician include:

• Salary Range is dependent upon experience
