Job summary

Day & Evening Pet Hospital in Palm Harbor, FL seeks a compassionate Veterinary Technician to join a busy, full-service hospital and surgical center. You will work closely with veterinarians to provide medical, surgical, dental, and preventive care for dogs and cats.

You’ll perform venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and client education while maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced team setting. Growth opportunities and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Certified Veterinary Technician preferred; experienced technicians working toward credentialing encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory procedures, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and other technician duties.
• Monitor hospitalized and surgical patients.
• Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols.
• Support an efficient, organized, and positive hospital environment.
• Work as part of a team to deliver an excellent experience for patients, clients, and coworkers.

Day & Evening Pet Hospital is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and team-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our growing team!

We are a busy, full-service veterinary hospital and surgical center providing medical, surgical, dental, and preventative care for dogs and cats. Our technicians work closely with our veterinarians to provide exceptional patient care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, treatments, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory procedures, radiology, anesthesia monitoring, and other technician duties.
• Monitor hospitalized and surgical patients.
• Educate clients on medications, treatments, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols.
