Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA) seeks a Full-Time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join a collaborative animal hospital focused on compassionate small animal care. The role emphasizes client education, anesthesia support, and hands-on patient care.

Qualified candidates will be AVMA-accredited graduates with active licenses, capable of mentoring staff and maintaining high clinical standards in a fast-paced setting. Evening shifts and Saturdays may be required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • Current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
  • Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and lab procedures.
  • Calm, efficient, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
  • Preferred: at least one year of veterinary experience

Responsibilities

  • Build client relationships during technician appointments.
  • Assist with anesthetic procedures and utilize licensure skills.
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and lab work.
  • Mentor and support team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Partner with pet owners to educate and review medical records.
  • Contribute to a positive hospital environment and high standards
