$10,000 LVT Sign-On Bonus! Guardian Veterinary is a private, evolving emergency and specialty small animal hospital located in picturesque Brewster, NY. Our flagship facility features state‑of‑the‑art surgical suites, a premier neurology center, a full‑service diagnostic laboratory, and advanced imaging—including MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital x‑ray. The hospital also houses a dedicated inpatient feline ward, a rehabilitation center with a full‑size therapy pool, and a private comfort room for pet owners.

Guardian Veterinary offers a 24/7 emergency room and provides comprehensive services in neurology, internal medicine, critical care, surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology, oncology, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and blood bank services. Our team is supported by highly skilled board‑certified veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and dedicated support staff who work together to deliver exceptional, compassionate care.

Job Details

• We are hiring Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) for Neurology, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and ER/ICU departments.
• Compensation: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience) plus a $10,000 sign‑on bonus (exclusive to the Brewster and Middletown locations). Shift differentials apply for ER/ICU night shifts.
• Overnight pay: Monday–Thursday: Base pay + $2; Friday–Sunday: Base pay + $4.

Schedules

• ER/ICU: Four 9.5‑hour shifts (days, swings, and overnights).
• Neurology, Surgery, & Internal Medicine: Four 9.5‑hour shifts between 8 am and 8 pm.

Qualified Applicants For This Role

• License eligible or licensed Veterinary Technician.
• Must be within 6 months of hire or already licensed.
• Love of animals and passion to help and heal.
• Desire to continually learn and grow.
• Licensed Specialized Veterinary Technician preferred for our 13 specialty departments, ER, and rehabilitation services.
• General practice and surgical skills desired but not required.
• Open to working at least one overnight shift.
