Job summary

DPC Veterinary Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician in Davie, FL. This full-time position requires collaboration with veterinarians to ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, venipuncture, injections, lab work, radiographs, and maintaining high quality medicine with outstanding client education and service.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record accurate patient histories.
• Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
• Administer SQ, IM and IV injections.
• Obtain laboratory samples and run tests on respective machines
• Restrain animals in a safe, efficient and compassionate manner during examinations and procedures
• Take digital radiographs
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, strong technical skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Emphasizing high quality medicine, effectively communicating with clients/client education, professional, efficient and exceptional customer service at all times.

DPC Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced technician to join our team!

Our technicians work closely with the veterinarians to ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Individuals must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
