Job summary

Humane Society of Tampa Bay is seeking experienced Veterinary Technicians for our AAHA Certified Animal Hospital. The role requires clinical experience, teamwork, multi-tasking and a positive attitude in a busy, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include fecals, blood draws, vaccinations, animal restraint, and urinalysis. Schedule includes Saturday shifts. Competitive benefits and a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 6 months, plus CE reimbursement for CVTs.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Vet Technician.
• Experience with fecals, parasite identification, blood draws, vaccinations, urinalysis and animal restraint.

Responsibilities

• Perform fecal tests and parasite identifications.
• Draw blood for diagnostics.
• Administer vaccinations and monitor patients.
• Restrain animals safely during procedures.
• Perform urinalyses and document results.

For more than 100 years, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay has been dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need. We are currently seeking full-time Vet Techs for our AAHA Certified Animal Hospital. Candidates must have clinical experience and must possess and demonstrate excellent team player spirit, be able to multi-task, and show focus and follow through in a very busy, fun environment.

Schedule will include working on Saturday.
