Ox Bottom Animal Hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a veterinary technician to join our full-service practice. You will assist with restraint, triage, diagnostic imaging, lab work, medication administration, and client communication. Job description

Ox Bottom Animal Hospital is a locally owned, full service companion animal hospital that provides quality veterinary service to Tallahassee, Florida and the surrounding areas. Our friendly staff and experienced doctors specialize in preventative care, dental surgery, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, and behavior issues.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.

Additional Information

Pay Range:$17.00-$23.00/hr
