Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital is Hiring an Experienced Veterinary Technician!

We are looking for Veterinary Technician(s) to join our ICU and Emergency teams for fast‑paced afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.

Role: Veterinary Technician
Status: Full time
Salary: Negotiable, based on experience & licensure
Schedule: 8a-8p Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday, and Sunday. Days and hours can be flexible. (We are a 24/7 hospital.)

Allied Veterinary Emergency Hospital is located in Tallahassee, FL. We serve the Big Bend region of North Florida, South Georgia, and parts of Southern Alabama.

2 years of prior experience working as a veterinary assistant or technician is required.

ICU Veterinary Technician at Allied

Manage critical ill and injured inpatients
Perform diagnostic sampling, testing, and imaging
Venipuncture
Surgical prep and assistance
Work with multiple DVMs to stabilize emergency patients
Closely monitor and provide treatments to critically ill patients; report changes to DVM
Update owners on progress daily
Medical Math
Manage veterinary assistants, perform VA duties as needed

Emergency Veterinary Technicians at Allied

Triage and stabilize critical emergency patients
Work with multiple DVMs to stabilize emergency patients
Venipuncture
Medical math
Create and explain treatment plans and financial estimates alongside DVM
Manage veterinary assistants, perform VA duties as required
Keep owners updated on patient status
Surgical prep and assistance

Overnight Technicians work with a limited team and must be able to perform ICU, Emergency and reception duties.
