Job summary

VCA Southwest Freeway Animal Hospital in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our 4-doctor practice. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while guiding clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion.

You’ll assist with surgeries, dental cleanings, radiographs, medications, and in-house diagnostics. This role emphasizes teamwork, high-quality patient care, and clear communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for VTNE.
• Strong technical and clinical skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs.

The Role

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery
