Job summary

VCA Metzger Animal Hospital in State College, PA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Medical Team. The hospital provides 24/7 care with on-site emergency doctors and a full suite of diagnostic tools.

We offer a competitive wage between $19.50 and $26 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development. Both full-time and part-time positions are available at our AAHA-accredited facility.

Qualifications

• CVT, RVT or LVT credential required or preferred.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with physical exams, anesthesia, and surgical procedures.
• Perform radiology, laboratory work, and venipuncture.
• Provide compassionate care to hospitalized patients and client communication.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Medical Team!

Compensation: the pay range for this position is $19.50-$26/hr

VCA Metzger is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join the team in State College PA! We are a state of the art facility equipped with advance diagnostic tools which allows us to provide support to both routine and critical patient needs. We have 24-hour care with an emergency doctor and technicians on site at ALL times. In addition to our Feline Friendly and AAHA accreditations, VCA Metzger Animal Hospital is a Level III VECCS (Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society) Certified Veterinary Emergency Hospital.
