Veterinary Technician

Full-Time | Sioux Falls, SD – $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

All City Pet Care West is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our growing small animal practice. We recently relocated into a state‑of‑the‑art hospital, doubling our space, upgrading our equipment, and expanding our team. This is an exciting time to join a hospital that is investing in both high‑quality medicine and a strong, supportive team culture.

About the Hospital

• Newly built, modern veterinary facility with updated equipment and expanded space
• Growing doctor team (currently 5, expanding to 6‑8 DVMs)
• Small animal practice (dogs & cats)

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures
• Perform laboratory testing and operate diagnostic equipment (radiographs, lab machines)
• Place IV catheters, administer medications, and provide nursing care
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories
• Support patient care from intake through recovery
• Educate clients on treatment plans, preventive care, and follow‑up

Schedule

• Full‑Time
• Hospital hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Shifts may begin as early as 7:00 AM
• Schedule will vary based on doctor rotation
