Job summary

Pima North Animal Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join a compassionate, AAHA-accredited team. The hospital offers comprehensive care including medical, surgical, dental, boarding, and grooming in a patient-first environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, monitoring patients, collecting lab samples, anesthesia support, and client education.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years veterinary experience required.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, but not required.
• Strong patient care and animal handling skills.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Support anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist with dental procedures and surgery.
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventative care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
• Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and client service representatives to ensure exceptional patient care.

Our team utilizes advanced technology and diagnostics while maintaining a collaborative culture focused on delivering outstanding care to our patients and clients.

What You'll Do

As a member of our medical team, you'll play an essential role in supporting our doctors and advocating for patient health and comfort. Responsibilities include:
