Overview

Seeking an experienced licensed veterinary technician for a long-established private small animal hospital in Sacramento, CA. Will consider unlicensed if highly experienced. Compensation: $30 to $35/hr depending on license/experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with anesthesia induction, intubation, and monitoring
• Surgical preparation and post-operative support
• Digital x-rays and dental procedures
• In-house IDEXX lab and Cornerstone experience a plus
• Exam room assisting
• Blood draws on dogs and cats
• IV catheter placement
• Prescription handling
