Job summary

PetCare Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Technician to provide skilled care to our patients and excellent service to clients in Roseville, CA. This full-time or part-time role requires compassion, animal-care experience, and clear communication with clients and team members.

The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery; perform lab work and radiographs; manage records and medication dispensing; and help maintain a clean, safe clinical

Qualifications

• Experience in animal care and client communication.
• Familiarity with veterinary procedures and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of DEA and OSHA safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Restrain animals safely and compassionately.
• Communicate care instructions and updates to clients.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, and IV catheter placement.
• Maintain medical records and assist with medication dispensing.
• Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean, stocked, and ready.
• Follow hospital safety and regulatory guidelines at all times.

Veterinary Technician

Salary: $21.00 - $23.00

Schedule: 8:30- 6:00 pm is our shift range. 4-5 days with a 9-hour block and a 60-minute lunch. M-F, there may be a need for flexibility on a rotating Saturday shift in the future

Key Responsibilities:

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
