GoodVets in the Kansas City market is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians in surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, and patient education. You will be part of a collaborative team delivering gold-standard care and helping patients and clients.

Qualifications

• CVT or RVT license preferred but not required.
• Experience in a veterinary clinical setting.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong customer service orientation and compassion for pets and people.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters with accuracy.
• Conduct radiographic imaging and assist with diagnostics.
• Monitor anesthesia and support veterinarians during surgical procedures.
• Conduct physical exams and patient assessments, communicating findings effectively.
• Assist in surgical preparation, dental procedures, and lab work.
• Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Support patient recordkeeping and client communication for follow-up and education.
• Contribute to a clean, organized hospital environment.

We are seeking VTs for our Kansas City Market! The opportunity could be for interest at any of our locations: Prairie Village (KS), Overland Park-Leawood (KS), or Lee's Summit (MO).

As a Veterinary Technician, you play a vital role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. From surgical support and anesthesia monitoring to diagnostics and patient education, your technical expertise and compassion help shape each pet's experience.

What You'll Do

Our Veterinary Technicians Have

• CVT or RVT license preferred but not required
• Prior surgical and anesthesia experience in a veterinary clinical setting
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping pets and people
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn new techniques and grow professionally
