About the Position

Poland Animal Hospital is hiring a full‑time Veterinary Technician to join our recently renovated, full‑service small animal hospital in Poland, Maine.

This role supports a two‑doctor practice, providing outstanding patient care through diagnostics, digital radiography, and surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform in‑house diagnostics, digital radiography, and surgical assistance.
• Assist with patient care and daily veterinary operations.
• Support the transition to the Ezyvet clinical records system, guiding staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed or credentialed veterinary technician preferred; experienced veterinary assistants considered.
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a small animal practice.
• Strong technical abilities and excellent communication with clients and colleagues.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday 7:30 am (7:15 am on surgery days) – 5 pm; every other Saturday 7:30 am – 12 pm.

Full‑time; rotates Saturdays; 4‑day workweek balancing team needs.
