Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support veterinarians with surgical procedures and anesthesia monitoring, while delivering compassionate care to hospitalized pets. The role involves patient assessments, lab work, radiography, and maintaining accurate records in a collaborative hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have experience in surgical support and anesthesia, excellent customer service, and a team-oriented attitude with flexibility to work

Job description

Position: Veterinary Technician
Responsibilities
  • Support veterinarians with surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, and patient assessments.

  • Monitor anesthesia and assist during surgeries, dental procedures, and patient care.
  • Deliver compassionate care to hospitalized pets, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist in physical exams, patient education, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and supportive hospital environment.
Qualifications And Skills
  • CVT or RVT license preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in surgical support and anesthesia in a veterinary setting.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about pet and client care.
